Ready to Rent is an 18-hour class typically delivered over six weeks that covers key information for being a responsible and stable tenant. Participants explore screening barriers they may have and take steps to address those barriers.

Upon completion, participants receive a certificate that can be presented to landlords when applying for housing. Certificates are valid for 18 months and list the graduation date as well as the expiration date. Each time an individual graduates from Ready to Rent, they receive a new certificate valid for 18 months. Certificates can be used anywhere in Oregon.
