EARLY HEAD START
Early Head Start is a home visiting program serving individuals and families from pregnancy to age three that promotes healthy birth outcomes, enhanced child development, and positive parenting skills. Services include weekly home visits, parenting classes, and monthly group socialization. Supports parenting and prepares both parent and child for school readiness.

Parents can participate in parent committee meetings, volunteering, attending educational sessions, working toward meeting their family goals, and participating in Policy Council, which shares governance of the program with the NeighborImpact board.

Eligibility: Pregnant individuals and families with infants and children ages 0-3. Families with incomes at or below 100% FPL are eligible. Children in foster care, homeless children, and children from families receiving public assistance (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), SNAP or Supplemental Security Income (SSI)) are eligible regardless of income. Families with higher incomes and specific needs, may also be eligible. Families with higher needs are prioritized.
