SPARK
Spark supports and incentivizes quality improvements for child care and educational programs. Spark connects programs and providers with free tools, financial incentives, and professional advice. Spark also partners with families and communities to highlight the importance of early learning experiences and helps connect families with quality learning programs. Underserved families and communities are prioritized in investment and resource allocation to increase access to quality care.

Website contains listings for Star-Rated Programs, an explanation of Star Ratings, information for providers on how to start the Spark process, FAQs, and more.

Spark was formerly known as Oregon's Quality Rating and Improvement System, or QRIS. The name "Spark" was chosen because it is short and memorable, inspiring new providers to join the network and helping more parents find quality care for their children.
