This page contains summer and heat-related resources based on the information shared with 211info by providers as resources become available. Check this page frequently for the most up-to-date information.
Opening hours are based on specific counties’ and individual agencies’ criteria. Resources listed on this page can and will change depending on the current event and availability of resources. In addition to cooling centers, local community centers, libraries, and churches may be open to the public during times of extreme heat. Splash pads and shopping centers can also be a place to cool off during the day.
If you know of a resource that is not listed, or information that needs to be updated, please contact our Resource Team at 503-416-2698 or by email: support@211info.org.
Take Care of Others
Some people are more at risk for heat-related illness, including people with health conditions, the very young, and seniors. Check in with neighbors, family, and friends who live alone. Anyone who has concerns about someone who appears to be unprepared for the hot weather and does not seem to be capable of caring for themselves should call Police Non-Emergency and request a “welfare check” or call 911 if it is a medical emergency.
