Volunteers assist low-income adults who need help handling their finances. Volunteers are recruited, trained, and matched with clients to assist with budgeting, bill paying, monitoring, creating a spending plan, and routine financial tasks. The program acts as representative payee for individuals as authorized by Social Security. Volunteers may also serve as bill pay coaches for individuals. Volunteers play a vital role in building relationships with clients, case managers, and others.
