Provides an online assessment tool for individuals impacted by extreme weather events, such as wildfires or extreme heat, seeking services and support from the Oregon Department of Health Services (ODHS) for disaster-related needs. Assistance is not immediate, and completing the assessment does not guarantee assistance.

Eligibility: Residents of Oregon who were impacted by extreme weather event (such as extreme heat or wildfire) during Summer 2024.
Individual services may have additional eligibility requirements.
Hours: 24 hours per day / 7 days per week
ACCESS
CENTER FOR COMMUNITY RESILIENCE
Supports those affected by wildfire, including transitioning fire survivors into affordable and permanent housing. Housing case management services look different for each household, but may include:
-Advocating for fire-impacted households to help find stable, safe, and affordable housing
-Identifying short- and long-term housing needs
-Developing individual housing stability plans
-Helping program participants conduct housing searches
-Providing participants with rent payment and utility bill assistance
-Homebuyer counseling services
-Homeowner and tenant education opportunities
-Collaboration with local partner agencies to provide comprehensive support including disaster relief, mental health, and substance abuse case management

This program is designed to help survivors of specific natural disaster events connect to ODHS Disaster Case Managers. Intake does not guarantee assistance. Disaster case workers may be able to assist individuals in identifying and applying for disaster recovery support or addressing urgent needs. Services will vary based on eligibility and need.
