CLARK COUNTY VOLUNTEER LAWYERS PROGRAM
Advice clinics offer one-on-one appointments with a volunteer attorney for civil law matters only. Topics include family law (custody, visitation, divorce, guardianship, etc.), elder law, general law, debt/bankruptcy (Chapter 7 only), and wills/estates. Clinics are held weekly and monthly. Self-help materials and forms available as well.

COWLITZ WAHKIAKUM LEGAL AID
Cowlitz-Wahkiakum Legal Aid coordinates civil legal aid for low income individuals with the help of licensed attorneys and skilled staff in the categories of bankruptcy assistance, vacation of criminal record, eviction prevention, divorce, custody, support, general legal aid, guardianship and wills, and landlord/tenant dispute resolution. Offers a Civil Tribal Legal Clinic addressing family law, landlord/tenant, wills and estate planning, contracts & homeownership. Also provides legal forms to the public for different civil legal issues.

Works to advance the dignity, equality, and self-determination of people with disabilities. Program pursues justice on matters related to human and legal rights and provides advocacy services to people with disabilities. DRW responds to requests for:
- Disability rights information and referrals
- Problem solving strategies for disability issues
- Community education and training
- Legal services for disability discrimination or violation of rights for systemic issues
DRW's legal resources are focused on major cases which will improve service systems for people with disabilities.

GUARDIANSHIP/CONSERVATORSHIP PROGRAMS
Provides guardianship/conservatorship, family support, case management, and advocacy services through the following programs:

Guardianship/Conservatorship Program: Provides guardianship/conservatorship services for those who are not capable of making appropriate decisions about their well-being and who have no family or friends willing or able to accept such responsibilities. If all other appropriate alternatives have been tried, agency can serve as the Guardian and/or Conservator for the person.

Guardianship Diversion Program: Helps ensure that all possible alternatives are explored before the step of adjudication is taken. Program offers client assessment, personal support and encouragement to clients and/or families, short-term counseling, placement counseling, case monitoring, outreach, community education about alternatives to guardianship, and information/referral to community resources.
