GUARDIANSHIP/CONSERVATORSHIP PROGRAMS
Provides guardianship/conservatorship, family support, case management, and advocacy services through the following programs:

Guardianship/Conservatorship Program: Provides guardianship/conservatorship services for those who are not capable of making appropriate decisions about their well-being and who have no family or friends willing or able to accept such responsibilities. If all other appropriate alternatives have been tried, agency can serve as the Guardian and/or Conservator for the person.

Guardianship Diversion Program: Helps ensure that all possible alternatives are explored before the step of adjudication is taken. Program offers client assessment, personal support and encouragement to clients and/or families, short-term counseling, placement counseling, case monitoring, outreach, community education about alternatives to guardianship, and information/referral to community resources.

FEES: Guardianship/Conservatorship: $100 per hour, charged in quarter-hour increments. Services are provided regardless of ability to pay, as long as funding is available for the establishment and annual report filing costs.

Guardianship Diversion: $35 per hour, charged in quarter-hour increments. Services are provided regardless of ability to pay.
