Provides advocacy, job assistance, transitional housing, and case management services for homeless veterans. Conducts outreach to veterans and non-veterans living in homeless camps by providing potable water, food, clothing, phone/fax services, bus passes, legal aid, and Veterans Affairs claims assistance.

Homeless Veterans’ Reintegration Program (HVRP) serves homeless veterans who are seeking housing assistance, employment services and/or training program connection and support. HVRP works with low-income homeless veterans to help them lay the framework to secure housing and become self-sufficient. Case management helps participants navigate community resources and to provide support in gaining employment and occupational training.

Provides nature-based retreats where participants can engage in skills training for sustainable agriculture and food production, as well as foraging and naturalist skills.

Employment Solutions: Helps veterans with barriers to employment find work. Provides help with presentation (work clothes), job skills, employment search, etc.

Job Search Center: Provides resume help, help with computer navigation, interview tips, financial guidance, etc.

Provides access to both VA and community services. Services for former US Military Service members/Veterans may include short term case management, one site primary care, access to medical, mental health, and substance abuse treatment, access to VA housing programs including Grant Per Diem program, HUD/VASH, Veterans Recovery House and Supportive Service for Veteran Families (SSVF) if found eligible, These grants do not provide immediate assistance, are sometimes one time assistance and may include case management. Help is provided finding market rate or subsidized housing or linkage to community housing programs. Assistance provided with expediting VA Benefit claims, access to employment programs such as Supported Employment, Veterans Reintegration program and State employment. Access to on site clothing, computers, and hygiene items.

Works to meet the employment and training needs of US Armed Forces veterans and eligible spouses. Provides intensive services to veterans with VA service-connected disabilities and/or significant barriers to employment. Services include advocacy, employment and career counseling, vocational guidance, labor market information, help creating an Individual Employment Plan, resume and application assistance, On-the-Job Training (OJT) and job development, apprenticeship information, government employment opportunities, and referrals to veteran service providers (County Veterans Service Officers, VA Medical, Oregon National Guard Reintegration and Service Member Support, and other community and nonprofit organizations).

WorkSource Centers have staff who work specifically with veterans and eligible spouses to address the unique needs of veterans, such as transferring military skills to civilian employment. In addition to providing employment assistance, WorkSource markets the advantages of hiring veterans to local businesses and connects veterans to services that help with health care, food, clothing, or housing.
