RESPITE CARE
Respite Care for individuals with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia. Activities includes lunch, brain exercise and socialization, music therapy, exercise, and arts/crafts. Outings scheduled periodically. This is designed to give family caregivers/caregivers a much needed break while providing the participant with a social and life enriching day of activities in a supervised environment.

Operates two state-certified adult day centers providing care for older adults, adults with disabilities (intellectual, cognitive, and/or physical) and support for family caregivers. Adult Day Services provide a structured program designed to meet the needs of functionally and/or cognitively impaired adults through individually planned service, supervision, social and related support services, and health monitoring in a protective setting during any part of a day, but less than 24-hour care.

Daytime respite program designed to meet the needs of individuals with progressive cognitive impairments and/or dementia by utilizing evidence-based multi-sensory interventions to decrease agitation, confusion and resistance to care. Services are provided on a 1 to 4 caregiver/participant ratio, although there are many opportunities for one-to-one interaction.
