RESPITE CARE
Provides two programs to serve caregivers and individuals with Alzheimer's disease.



Time with Friends is a social program for adults with mild memory loss that encourages participants to make new friends, participate in activities, and enjoy outings into the community. Exercise and music therapy is offered.



Among Friends is an adult day respite program. Provides a supportive and safe environment for all participants. Activities are socially engaging, positive, and light-hearted.

Eligibility: -Experiencing memory loss or symptoms of Alzheimer's
-Able to participate in a structured activity environment
-Limited behavioral issues; non-violent, non-combative, managed wandering
-Require minimal assistance with eating and respond to verbal cueing
-Able to utilize restroom facilities with minimal assistance, respond to verbal cueing, and have managed incontinence
-Must be able to eat with minimal cueing, managed incontinence, managed behaviors, and will be able to participate and benefit from the program elements
Hours: Among Friends: Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday 11am-4pm
Time with Friends: Thursday 11am-3pm

INTAKE PROCEDURE: Call or visit website for more information. Home visit and completion of care plan is required prior to first visit.
FEES: Among Friends: $50 per day includes five hours of respite care, including lunch and a snack
Time with Friends: $25 per day
Medicaid (OHP) and private pay accepted, fee waivers and scholarships are available
