Provides advocacy, job assistance, transitional housing, and case management services for homeless veterans. Conducts outreach to veterans and non-veterans living in homeless camps by providing potable water, food, clothing, phone/fax services, bus passes, legal aid, and Veterans Affairs claims assistance.

HIV SERVICES
The HIV Day Center is a drop-in center for people living with HIV/AIDS. Services include hot breakfasts and lunches, access to phones, a mail drop, computers with internet access, TV, VCR, clothing, shower, and hygiene supplies. Clients have access to washer, dryer, massage, acupuncture, foot care, and haircuts by signup. Recreational activities include art therapy, field trips, games, and other activities. Our Daily Bread Express program delivers meals directly to those who are homebound with HIV.

THE FATHER'S HEART STREET MINISTRY
Drop-in day center services include 2 meals a day, including a sack lunch to go; showers by appointment (showers are not wheelchair accessible), haircuts, computer access, telephone, referrals to housing resources, mental health and drug addiction referrals to resources, and help with ID residency letters for those experiencing homelessness (occasional financial assistance for Clackamas County residents).



Provide blankets, adult clothing, shoes, and hygiene items.

Also provides an emergency overnight warming center when the temperature drops to 33 degree wind chill.

STREET LIGHT YOUTH SHELTER
Provides short-term overnight shelter, two meals per day and cleanup facilities for 30 homeless and street dependent youth attempting to make changes in their lives. Youth may access clothing, medical assistance, and employment education support.

When severe weather is declared by the city, 5 additional beds will open.

Daytime drop-in center and basic services, primarily for homeless individuals and families. Services include showers, bathrooms, mail, limited locker storage, internet, hygiene items, laundry vouchers, pet food, telephone, and referral information. Some of these services are provided through a barter system. Diapers are available through PDX Diaper Bank.

JOIN also conducts outreach to people actively sleeping on the streets or in their vehicles.

Day center for houseless families and pregnant women that provides a place to shower, make phone calls, pick up mail and messages, do laundry, eat, etc. Families may come and go as they wish during the day.



The Night Shelter Annex is a low-barrier, 90-day wraparound case management and shelter program for families experiencing houselessness. Services include access to individual dorm units, laundry, showers, meals (breakfast and dinner), First Place Kids child care, and First Place Family Center day-access center. Families must first be registered at First Place Family Center to be eligible for the Night Shelter Annex.



Pre-screening is required. Eligible households will be added to a central housing referral list for all programs they qualify for.
