STREET LIGHT YOUTH SHELTER
Provides short-term overnight shelter, two meals per day and cleanup facilities for 30 homeless and street dependent youth attempting to make changes in their lives. Youth may access clothing, medical assistance, and employment education support.

When severe weather is declared by the city, 5 additional beds will open.

Eligibility: Displaced youth ages 16-24
Youth must be working with a case manager on a plan in order to access a bed on a continuing basis.

INTAKE PROCEDURE: Youth are referred from community agencies (Outside In, New Avenues for Youth, Native American Youth and Family Center, and Janus Access Center).
