WASHINGTON SERVICE CORPS
Washington Service Corps/AmeriCorps is a 10½ month community service program. Program participants are eligible for a monthly stipend, basic health insurance, workers compensation coverage, childcare assistance, and an education award that can be used for future schooling or to pay off existing qualified student loan debt (upon successful completion of the service term).

-Cannot be (or required to be) listed on the National Sex Offender Registry, or have been convicted of murder
