NEW AVENUES FOR YOUTH
DROP-IN DAY SERVICE CENTER
Provides a safe space where youth experiencing housing instability can receive three meals per day/ six days per week, as well as access to showers, laundry, clothing, temporary mailing address, and mental health and recovery supports. Offers computers and internet access, free legal clinics, and monthly veterinary clinics for those with pets. Engaging activities that facilitate self-empowerment and promote skill-building, such as music and art, health and wellness, and recreation, are also provided. Staff connects youth to other wraparound supports such as education, job training/placement, culturally specific services, and housing that help them exit houselessness and prepare for the future.

Lunch: Monday-Saturday 1pm-2 pm
Dinner: Monday-Saturday 5pm-6 pm

INTAKE PROCEDURE: Call Access Center for screening at 503-432-3986. Youth must first be screened into the Homeless Youth Continuum (HYC). On-site staff can assist youth to connect with HYC for a screening and on-site screening is available on Saturdays.
