Provides assistance with paying for the cost of some prescriptions. May also provide gas vouchers or bus fare for trips to medical appointments within service area. CARE must be able to contact the provider to verify the appointment.

Provides passes for local transportation through 1-2-day bus passes or gas voucher. No monthly bus passes, Amtrak, or Greyhound tickets.

Provides sack lunches; one load of laundry per week, per household; clothing; camping gear such as tents or sleeping bags; gas money with proof of insurance and driver's license; bus tickets for appointments or job interviews; and assistance with job applications and resumes. Provides emergency financial assistance for utilities and gas vouchers. Funding is limited. If needs exceed available funding, St. Mary's Poor Fund volunteers will assist in finding other agencies that may be able to cover the remaining expense.

Provides emergency food boxes, clothing for adults, household items (kitchenware and small appliances), prescription assistance, gas money (for job interviews or appointments), emergency motel vouchers, and ID assistance. Donations accepted.

Provides limited rent assistance, utility assistance, gasoline, prescription and medical bill assistance, and other financial help on first-come, first-served basis. No cash assistance; all payments are made directly to the vendor. Referrals to other outreach agencies are provided.

Provides limited emergency assistance with rent, utilities, bus fare, car repairs, gas vouchers, laundry vouchers, and other forms of concrete assistance.

Provides limited assistance for the following: utility assistance (water, electricity, heating fuel with a past due or shut-off notice), rent (eviction prevention only), prescription assistance (no painkillers or mood-altering drugs), gasoline vouchers (for verified out-of-town doctor's appointments only), and propane vouchers (up to $25 to be used at Sweet Home RV Center), eyeglasses. May receive assistance once in a 12-month period, up to 3 times in a lifetime or (restricted to one time only for eviction prevention).

Emergency food pantry that also provides emergency housing assistance, prescription expense assistance, clothing vouchers, propane/gas vouchers, utility assistance, and a low cost thrift store. Also provides application assistance for SNAP/food stamps, OHP, and CAT Housing Solutions.

May be able to help with rent, utilities, prescriptions, identification & birth certificates, gas, regional bus fare, and other urgent needs. Usually only able to pay a portion of the requested amount.
