Royal Family KIDS are residential summer camps sponsored by For the Children. Children who have experienced abuse, neglect, and abandonment will work with a counselor (one for every one or two children), providing individual attention. Summer camp is one week in length.

Training Calendar provides information on upcoming parent support groups, parenting classes, and educational events for DHS post-adoptive families, assisted guardianship families, and Oregon families who have adopted through any state child welfare system.

Provides cultural, athletic, fitness (youth and adult sports), dance, music, science, language, and swimming. Parent/child activity groups are available. Drop-in sports schedule and indoor park schedule on website. Offers a variety of outdoor education that focuses on environmental stewardship and nature connection, including field trips, summer camps, and guided walks. Volunteer opportunities are available.

Operates and maintains city parks, gardens, racquet centers, golf courses, natural areas, hiking trails, the Portland International Raceway, and community centers.
