Makes direct grants on behalf of people with permanent physical disabilities. The aid may relate directly to the disability or go toward fostering personal independence. Applicants may apply for financial aid for assistive devices, special equipment, or other similar expenses. Payments are made directly to vendors. Rental assistance is not an eligible expense.
