Parenting skills class meant to help those who have experienced domestic violence understand the impact on their children and themselves, to teach parents to talk to and listen to their children about their experiences of the violence, to encourage children's resilience, and to support parents in strengthening their relationships with their children. The focus of the curriculum is domestic violence and parenting issues. It is not a comprehensive parenting skills class.

Child care can be arranged and transportation may also be arranged, if possible. The curriculum is written for 16 weekly sessions, but can be shortened by adding more information in each week, and depending on how many participants there are.
