The Therapeutic Early Childhood Program is a unique combination of classroom and home-based experiences for families with children ages two through five years. The program focuses on the specific needs of families experiencing high stress or trauma. Teachers, specialists and parents work together to establish goals and to support the social emotional development of the child. To provide continuity between school and home, the child's classroom teacher is also the family's home visitor, supporting parents to create a healthy and nurturing home environment. All children receive developmental screenings. Families have access to child and family counseling, addiction support services, parenting education, the food pantry and clothing closet, and family social gatherings. Limited transportation available based on eligibility.
