PARENT MENTOR PROGRAM
Parent Mentor Program is a program of Parents Anonymous Oregon. Provides peer mentoring to parents impacted by addiction who are involved in DHS-Child Welfare and criminal justice systems. Parents are matched with Parent Mentors who have faced and conquered similar challenges. Mentors help parents to stay on track, work through the child welfare system, complete substance abuse treatment, learn positive parenting skills, build self-esteem, and develop advocacy skills. Mentors help parents connect to the recovery community and ultimately return to parenting clean and sober.
