AGING, DISABILITY AND VETERANS SERVICES
Provides services to older adults, adults with disabilities, veterans, and caregivers. Services include Medicaid case management, SNAP/food stamps administration, information and assistance, transportation, in-home services subsidies so client can remain independent, advocacy assistance, and help with health care questions.

Adult protective services investigates incidents of abuse or neglect involving older adults and people with disabilities who are living in a facility or their own homes and provides a phone line to report abuse or neglect.

Orientation to become a home care worker (HCW) is held monthly at this location.

INTAKE PROCEDURE: Call for information

"Open Enrollment" HCWs (individuals who do not already have a client that they plan to work for) can sign up for orientation each month starting at 8am on the first business day of the month. Call the main number (ask for Homecare Worker Unit) or call HCW unit directly.
FEES: None for most programs. Those with higher incomes who receive long-term care services may be required to contribute toward the cost of services.

LANGUAGES: English, interpretation or signing by arrangement. Drop-in visitors needing a language other than English can be served using a phone interpretation service.
