TEMPORARY ASSISTANCE TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SURVIVORS (TADVS)
DHS administers Temporary Assistance to Domestic Violence Survivors (TADVS). TADVS can help with up to $1200 in temporary financial help over a 90-day eligibility period to help families whose safety is at risk because of domestic violence. Payments are given directly to the landlord or other service provider. The program can help with housing-related expenses such as deposits, rent and utilities, relocation costs, and replacing items left behind, like clothes and furniture. The assistance can also help address safe such as new locks, security cameras, or post office boxes.

Eligibility: People who are flee?ing domestic violence or trying to stay safe from domestic violence and who

-Are a parent or relative caring for a minor child, or are pregnant
-Meets the income criteria for the program (looks only at income on hand that is available to meet any emergency needs)
-Live in Oregon
-Eligibility varies and is determined on a case-by-case basis
