TEMPORARY ASSISTANCE TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SURVIVORS
Temporary Assistance to Domestic Violence Survivors (TADVS) can help with temporary financial assistance over a 90-day eligibility period to help families whose safety is at risk because of domestic violence. Payments are given directly to the landlord or other service provider. The program can help with housing-related expenses such as deposits, rent and utilities, relocation costs, and replacing items left behind, like clothes and furniture. The assistance can also help address safety, such as new locks, security cameras, or post office boxes.
