JOBS PROGRAM
Steps to Success, a partnership between DHS and Portland Community College, is an integrated program that provides individuals with the tools to become self-sufficient. This program provides intensive assistance, job search skills and training, assistance to receive a GED or ABE, counseling services, alcohol/drug programs, and employment services.

JOBS is the state's employment and training program for people receiving public assistance. One segment of the JOBS program, known as JOBS Plus, places TANF recipients in limited-duration training positions with private employers.
