LEMON LAW ARBITRATION PROGRAM
Administers a free arbitration program for eligible claims against vehicle manufacturers regarding defective new motor vehicles. Offers information on the lemon law, such as what qualifies a vehicle as a lemon, how to start arbitration, how to negotiate a settlement, and arbitration of ongoing warranty problems for eligible vehicles.

The Washington State Motor Vehicle "Lemon Law" is designed to help new vehicle owners who have substantial continuing problems with warranty repairs. The law allows the owner to request an arbitration hearing through the Attorney General's Office.
