Provides assistance with applying for benefits and medical that veterans may be entitled to. Offers short-term housing intervention program for low-income veterans and their families experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of homelessness in partnership with Community in Action. Can be assisted with housing through case management assistance and support, including move-in and rental payment assistance, eviction prevention, benefits support, employment and education services, legal aid around housing barriers, and other expenses that may support stable housing. Must be willing to work with a caseworker. Clients may be requied to be alcohol and drug-free. Assistance in any program depends on the availability of funds.
