HOMEOWNERSHIP PROGRAM
Habitat for Humanity provides an opportunity for families to build and buy their own homes. The houses are sold at no profit to homeowner families, who provide sweat equity labor to help build the houses.
Eligibility: Households currently living in substandard housing that meet all of the following requirements:
-Meet income guidelines
-Can commit to 300 hours of sweat equity in construction
-Are United States citizens or permanent residents
-Have not have owned a home in the past 3 years
-Have the ability to make a mortgage payment (steady income and decent credit history)
