HEAD START
Offers a developmentally appropriate and Native American culturally relevant preschool experience. Head Start services promote school readiness by enhancing the social and cognitive development of children in a classroom setting and by providing educational, health, nutritional, social, and other services to children and families. Parental engagement is emphasized. Services for parents include goal setting and support, parenting classes and opportunities for parents to network.

Eligibility: Families with children ages 3-5 living near Siletz, Lincoln City, Salem and Portland. Preference for enrollment to children who are Native American.
