Assists the public by identifying and regulating the practice of licensed psychologists, psychologist associates, and residents. Investigates complaints regarding violations of the law and rules, and the competency of licensees. Issues new and renewed licenses, disciplines misconduct, and communicates information about licensure, practice, and discipline. Develops and maintains professional standards for the professions of psychology.
