Sarah’s Place is a regional sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE) center created to provide a safe place for survivors to receive immediate medical treatment and resources. Designed to emphasize privacy and security for patients, Sarah’s Place is located in its own area at Samaritan Albany General Hospital, away from the emergency department.

Additional counseling and patient support is also available. Non-emergency transportation resources for patients from the coast can be arranged as needed.
