SCHOOLWORKS PARENT ADVOCACY FOR STUDENT SUCCESS
Provides BIPOC parents and guardians with legal representation in school settings to ensure their children receive the school services and support. Also, provides community-based educational rights training (topics include but are not limited to student/ parent rights, discrimination, search and seizure in schools, and an overview of educational law) to parents and community partners to advocate for the students in their lives.

Eligibility: -Ages Pre K-5th grade and who identify as BIPOC
-Need or receive special education services (IEP or 504) AND have unique cultural considerations regarding placement or services
-Currently facing school disciplinary issues, need alternative educational placement, behind academically
Training: Unrestricted, with a focus on BIPOC parents and guardians
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm; training session times will vary
