OREGON VETERANS EMERGENCY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Provides grants that offer emergency financial assistance to veterans and their immediate family members once per lifetime. Funding is limited and varies per individual. Assistance may include, but is not limited to, emergency or temporary housing and related housing expenses, such as expenses for utilities, insurance, rent, and house repairs; emergency medical or dental expenses; or emergency transportation. All payments are made directly to the vendor.

Eligibility: Veterans with an Honorable Discharge or a General Discharge Under Honorable Conditions and their immediate family members (spouse, unremarried surviving spouse, child, or stepchild)
Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm; some 7:30am appointments available, and off site in Beaverton, Forest Grove, and Tigard

INTAKE PROCEDURE: Call for assistance with the application process and to submit for consideration. Applications are accepted from the 1st to the 10th of every month and considered in order of submission with mid-month distribution. If funding has been exhausted for the month, applicant must wait until next month before reconsideration.
