COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS AND VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Community Cancer Center's (CCC) Community Outreach programs serve all cancer patients. Provides monthly support groups, one for survivors of all cancer types and two specifically for breast cancer survivors. The Lung Information for Everyone (LIFE) program offers FreshStart adult smoking cessation classes. Classes are available for youth to prevent smoking. Conference rooms are available for free to nonprofit organizations for medical meetings.

Volunteer opportunities and fundraising opportunities are also available. Volunteer opportunities include operating a van to provide transportation for patients and staffing a kiosk desk at the center to greet and direct visitors. Other volunteer opportunities are available for people with specialized skills and experience.

All volunteers must pass a background check and complete an approximately one-hour intake procedure. Drivers must have a valid driver license and pass a driver safety course.
