BABIES FIRST!
Expanded Babies First! is Oregon's public health nurse visiting program that works to improve the health outcomes of pregnant people and children (birth to age 5) through prevention and early identification of needs and challenges. The visiting nurse can provide health and developmental screenings, health and nutrition education, infant and child development tips, breastfeeding and chest feeding support, case management, and referrals to community resources that center the family's needs.
