FARMERS MARKET FUND
COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE (CSA)
For eligible households using SNAP benefits, the Pacific NW CSA Coalition will cover half (50%) of the cost of the share from participating farms through the Double Up Food Bucks program. This is done by applying a match for the SNAP benefits that they use. This money goes directly to the CSA farmer, making CSA more affordable while helping farmers earn a living. For example, a CSA share normally priced at $650 will only cost SNAP participants $325 with Double Up Food Bucks.
