The Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Section 8 program provides affordable housing, free from discrimination, to those with barriers due to income, disability, or age. The HCV program provides tenant-based assistance, meaning that assistance follows the tenant as long as they remain eligible for the program.

INTAKE PROCEDURE: Walk in, call, or visit website to fill out application and be placed on waiting list.
FEES: Participating households pay approximately 30% of their adjusted income for rent; the balance of the rent is paid by the Housing Authority to the landlord directly on behalf of the participating household.
