AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER (ASD) PROGRAM
Provides licensed special education teachers with specific teaching experience, training, and knowledge in the area of ASD. These services support districts as they work to build the capacity of their special education teams. Examples of this work include developing staff knowledge of the characteristics of ASD, classroom-based strategies, evidence-based practices (EBPs), and assessment requirements and procedures.
