HOMEOWNERSHIP PROGRAM
Homeownership program sells Habitat constructed houses at affordable cost based on income to individuals unable to afford a typical mortgage. Program works directly with homeowners during construction to complete general homeownership and financial education.

Eligibility: Family selection factors include demonstrated need for housing (present housing is inadequate), ability to pay monthly mortgage, income between 35%-80% of the county's median income based on family size, and willingness to partner. Must live or work in Benton County.

INTAKE PROCEDURE: Call for information. Program orientation and application required. The whole process from application to move-in may take up to 18 months. 1-3 slots are available per year.
FEES: Families must contribute hours of sweat equity and must save $1000 for closing cost through VIDA Program at WNHS.
DOCUMENTS: A list of necessary documents will be provided for eligible applicants including a background check and credit report.
