STUDENT AND FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES
Student and Family Support Services serves children with behavior, social service, and academic achievement needs. Also assists school districts by supporting them in the search for practical solutions to student behavior, instructional improvement, and social service needs in the following areas:

-Attendance Services: Interventions and resources for staff and parents regarding school attendance and truancy.
-Behavior Consultant Services: Support for students, parents, school staff, and community agencies to assist students with behavioral or emotional issues. Includes assessment, observation, interviews, safety risk assessment, and recommended interventions, such as counseling, skill training, and referrals to other services.
-Family Support Project: Provides information and referrals to community resources, youth activities, home-based parenting support, counseling, and more.
-Youth Service Team (YST): Multidisciplinary teams provide integrated services to students in Linn County, including referrals to counseling and community-based services, youth and family activities, help navigating social service programs, outreach and crisis intervention, and more.
