Youth development program helping Latina girls develop their leadership potential, adopt healthy lifestyles, develop cultural identity, and achieve academic success with high school graduation and college enrollment. Provides an environment in which young Latinas learn from each other and through their facilitators what it means to be a successful person, to explore career options, and to prepare for higher education.

BASIC NEEDS, CIVIC ENGAGEMENT, AND COMMUNITY AND CULTURE
Provides transportation and interpretation services, as well as help filling out forms (e.g. W-2s, job applications, rental forms, appointments with other agencies)
Provides assistance with documentation of discrimination and opportunities to discuss issues that may be affecting the Latino community
Provides workshops in leadership training, financial literacy, and civic engagement
Provides possible assistance to families during emergency situations in addition to wraparound support

SUN YOUTH ADVOCACY PROGRAM (SYAP)
Fosters academic achievement by providing school-linked, age-appropriate, and culturally specific academic support (activities such as tutoring, mentoring, reading club, gender groups, and conflict resolution classes), case management, family engagement, and skill-building groups.

Provides services for youth and their families so that youth remain in or return to school. These services are delivered at community and school sites to youth attending regular and/or alternative schools who are at risk of academic failure.

Formerly known as the Social and Support Services for Educational Success program (SSSES). Services by Hacienda CDC are bilingual and bicultural and only serve elementary and middle schools. This program is part of the SUN Service System.

A culturally specific after-school program focused on service learning and academic success. Students meet twice a week to experience teamwork by collaborating in interactive pro-social activities, as well as cultural awareness and self-identity activities.

NINTH GRADE COUNTS
Summer enrichment program for incoming freshmen transitioning into high school. Students learn about time management, internships, writing scholarship essays, how to succeed in high school, career exploration, healthy sexuality, and Latin American culture.
