Call to Safety accepts cell phone and tablet donations of technology in any condition (can be broken and unusable). Working phones are given, without a service plan, to survivors to use to call 911 if need be. Unusable phones are given to a cell phone recycling company. At this time, we are only able to accept cell phone donations by mail.

CENTER FOR HOPE AND SAFETY
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, SEXUAL ASSAULT, HUMAN TRAFFICKING, AND STALKING SERVICES
Provides a 24-hour crisis line, support groups, and advocacy for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking. Emergency shelter is available for those fleeing domestic or sexual violence situations. Other services include 911 cell phones, court accompaniment, the Address Confidentiality Program, and referral to other social services. Community education is also offered.

Offers a reduction in the monthly cost of phone or broadband service for qualifying low-income households. Also known as the Oregon Telephone Assistance Program, the program (1) reduces the cost of phone bills by up to $19.25 per month, (2) reduces the cost of broadband service by $21.25 per month, or (3) provides a free cell phone with voice and data services.
Note: Federal and state regulations limit the Lifeline benefit to one disbursal per household for either phone or broadband service.

SAFELINK WIRELESS
LIFELINE PROGRAM
SafeLink Wireless provides cell phones and airtime each month for income-eligible customers. This is part of a government assistance program called Lifeline. TracFone Wireless is the cell phone provider for this service. Customers that already have a smartphone may be able to use their own phone and get a SafeLink SIM card.
Eligibility: Clients are required to have a physical address; a mailing address does not meet the eligibility requirement. Client must be age 18 or older. Service is limited to one person per household.

Requirements vary by state, but in general, subscribers must either have an income at or below 135% of the Federal Poverty Level or participate in one of the following assistance programs: Medicaid, SNAP/food stamps, SSI, Section 8, Veterans and Survivors Pension Benefits, Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance (BIA), Tribally Administered Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (Tribal TANF), Tribal Head Start (only those households meeting its income qualifying standard), or Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR).
Hours: Enrollment: Monday-Saturday 5am-7pm, Sunday 5am-4pm
