Senior Citizen Rate Credits are based on billings made between January 1 and April 30 of the previous year. If you’re approved for Senior Citizen Rate Credits, a credit equal to 50 percent of the previous year’s winter bills (not to exceed $500 annually; excludes any additional meters) will be applied to your account balance.

GUARANTEE OF SERVICE PLAN (GOSP)
Customers accepted into this program pay a maximum monthly amount based on income and, in some cases, electricity use. It may exempt participants from paying security deposits and late charges. If eligible, monthly payment for electric service will be based on a percentage of household's monthly income, and electricity usage. Clients in this program will have no disconnection of service as long as monthly payments are made. After a year of payments on this program, any old balances will be removed (if a payment is missed clients are responsible for full balance).

PUD ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS
Provides emergency financial assistance for electric bills and discount programs.
The Income-Qualified Senior Discount provides a $14.40 discount on the monthly base charge on eligible customers' bills and 10% discount on the energy charges. The Special Waiver Program provides a $14.40 discount on the monthly base charge for eligible customers. Participants must be recertified annually to keep the waiver. The Glow Fund provides emergency bill payment assistance (the program is based on current funding availability).

LOW INCOME COMMUNITY SOLAR
Offers monthly credits to electric bill with a discounted subscription to the Oregon Community Solar Program. Designed to expand solar access and lower utility costs for low-income families and individuals. The subscription to a solar "farm" allows access to solar energy for people who don't have the physical space or financial resources for a solar installation, people who live in condos or apartments, and people who rent or move around a lot.

Weatherization applications are accepted year-round, but there can be a 9-month to 1-year wait.
