CLACKAMAS COUNTY COORDINATED HOUSING ACCESS
CLACKAMAS COUNTY COORDINATED HOUSING ACCESS (CHA)
A collaboration of multiple agencies that provide a centralized coordinated access point for households experiencing homelessness or a housing crisis to seek assistance. Eligible households will be assessed for services and added to a central Housing Referral List for all programs they qualify for. This is not a crisis line, and there may be a wait for both shelter and housing.

Eligibility: Individuals and families who are homeless or at imminent risk of becoming homeless seeking prevention/diversion services to stay in their current homes
Hours: 7 days per week 8am-8pm
TRANSITION PROJECTS
VETERAN SERVICES/SSVF
Provides a short-term housing intervention program for low-income veterans and their families experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of becoming homeless.

Veterans and their families can be assisted with housing through case management, pending eligibility. If eligible, assistance and support may include move-in/rental assistance, eviction prevention, benefits support, employment and education services, legal aid around housing barriers, and other expenses that may support stable housing.

Must be willing to work with a caseworker. May require clients to be alcohol- and drug-free. Assistance in any of these programs depends on availability of funds.

VA PORTLAND COMMUNITY RESOURCE AND REFERRAL CENTER
VA COMMUNITY RESOURCE AND REFERRAL CENTER
Provides help to access VA and community services. Services may include short-term case management, onsite primary care, access to medical, mental health, and substance abuse treatment, and access to VA housing programs, including Grant and Per Diem program, HUD/VASH, Veterans Recovery House and Supportive Service for Veteran Families (SSVF) if found eligible. These grants do not provide immediate assistance, are sometimes one-time, and may include case management. Help with finding market rate or subsidized housing or linkage to community housing programs. Assistance with expediting VA Benefit claims and access to employment programs such as Supported Employment, Veterans Reintegration program, and State employment. Access to computers, clothing, and hygiene items is available onsite.
