This is an access point for being placed on Jackson County's Centralized Interest List for housing.

The SafeChoice and SafeChoice LGBTQ Programs offer a variety of services, including a 24-hour crisis hotline for education, support, and safety planning; support group sessions; walk-in/phone-in advocacy. There is a gender-inclusive domestic violence shelter (which includes a Children's Advocacy Program (CAP) for residents). Legal advocacy services provide information and assistance in completing protection orders and may provide court accompaniment to Protection Order Court at the Clark County Courthouse. Also provides cell phones that dial 911 at any time.

Provides transitional housing to families with children, as well as women escaping domestic violence or experiencing homelessness. Supportive services that include social service referrals, job readiness, budgeting, and other life skills in preparation for independent living are provided.

Serves as an entry point into the Portland Metro area's domestic violence shelter and housing resources. Checks at 9am each day for all domestic violence resources, including shelter openings, available that same day. No waitlists are available. Shelter access is dependent on availability.

Pre-screens and provides referrals for a Safety and Stabilization Assessment (SSA) for domestic violence shelters or housing resources. SSA is required before accessing most direct domestic violence services.

Motel vouchers that are very limited. When available, good for one or two nights for folks in imminent danger seeking safety.

Provides services and support to those affected by sexual and domestic violence, including a crisis and support line, online live chat, emergency shelter, sexual assault response and hospital advocacy, and legal advocacy and assistance with restraining and stalking order paperwork. Volunteer opportunities available.

Provides a 24-hour crisis line, support groups, and advocacy for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking. Emergency shelter is available for those fleeing domestic or sexual violence situations. Other services include 911 cell phones, court accompaniment, the Address Confidentiality Program, and referral to other social services. Community education is also offered.

A collaboration of multiple agencies that provide a centralized access point for households experiencing homelessness or a housing crisis to seek assistance. Eligible households will be added to a central Housing Referral List for all programs they qualify for. This is not a crisis line, and there may be a wait for both shelter and housing.

Provides services for survivors of domestic, dating, and sexual violence and abuse. Services include:

Dunn House is an emergency shelter (up to 30 days) for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, sex trafficking, and their children. Advocates provide action planning, safety planning, information, peer support, and resource referrals. Clothing, food, and limited transportation are also available to residents. The shelter offers weekly education/support groups related to both Trauma Recovery and parenting, during which time childcare is provided by our advocates and volunteers. Dunn House advocates are available 24 hours a day/7 days per week.

Sexual assault services include support, information and referral, and advocacy for people of all ages during medical exams and through the criminal justice system.

Also provides legal advocacy services, including assistance with filing protection and anti-harassment orders, accompaniment to court proceedings, and legal referrals. There is a children's advocate who provides education about the cycle of domestic violence and provides childcare (with needs observation) during client appointments.

Provides domestic and sexual violence advocacy, shelter services, prevention education, and support. Services include a 24-hour crisis line, drop-in center, emergency shelter, transportation assistance, relocation assistance, culturally specific 2SLGBTQIA+ and Latinx services, youth prevention education and advocacy, medical and legal advocacy, and support groups for survivors. Provides community education on the dynamics of domestic and sexual violence, trauma, and prevention.

Advocates are mobile and can meet with survivors in safe, public locations throughout Clatsop County.

Also provides educational outreach to the community.

Charlotte House provides a domestic violence hotline, as well as a 24-hour secure shelter and/or services for women and children who are survivors of family violence. Clients may stay at the shelter for up to 30 days, with the possibility of extension. Clients receive assistance obtaining food, clothing, medical care, transportation, and other needs. Confidential services include legal and medical advocacy, counseling, and information and referral. Advocates work with residents to develop a plan of action that is unique to each individual's/family's needs.

Provides a shelter that includes a group room, two living rooms, a community kitchen, play yard for children, and a garden area for up to 20 individuals in a safe and confidential location. Shelter is pet-friendly for survivors who flee with their pets. Pets will be housed with their families on-site.

Provides services to women and children escaping domestic violence. Crisis intervention services include emergency shelter, crisis line, advocacy, therapeutic children's programs, and support groups. Self-sufficiency programming includes transitional housing and advocacy, information and referral, and life skills training. Provides community education and educational materials.

Offers a crisis line, Talsunne Safe House shelter for up to 13 women and their children, and advocacy for survivors of domestic violence, stalking, and sexual assault. Provides prevention education in area high schools and throughout the community.
