The SafeChoice and SafeChoice LGBTQ Programs offer a variety of services, including a 24-hour crisis hotline for education, support, and safety planning; support group sessions; walk-in/phone-in advocacy. There is a gender-inclusive domestic violence shelter (which includes a Children's Advocacy Program (CAP) for residents). Legal advocacy services provide information and assistance in completing protection orders and may provide court accompaniment to Protection Order Court at the Clark County Courthouse. Also provides a domestic violence survivor workshop once a month and cell phones that dial 911 at any time.

DUNN HOUSE SHELTER
Dunn House is an emergency shelter (up to 30 days) for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, sex trafficking, and their children. Advocates provide action planning, safety planning, information, peer support, and resource referrals. Clothing, food, and limited transportation are also available to residents. The shelter offers weekly education/support groups related to both Trauma Recovery and parenting, during which time childcare is provided by our advocates and volunteers. Dunn House advocates are available 24 hours a day/7 days per week.

Provides a shelter that includes a group room, two living rooms, a community kitchen, play yard for children, and a garden area for up to 20 individuals in a safe and confidential location. The shelter provides a supportive environment and an opportunity to heal. Shelter is pet-friendly for survivors who flee with their pets. Pets will be housed with their families on-site.

Provides services to women and children escaping domestic violence. Crisis intervention services include emergency shelter, crisis line, advocacy, therapeutic children's programs, and support groups. Self-sufficiency programming includes transitional housing and advocacy, information and referral, and life skills training. Provides community education and educational materials.
Eligibility: Single women and women with children (male children must be under age 18) fleeing domestic violence, sexual assault, trafficking, intimate partner violence or elder abuse
Hours: Shelter hours and crisis line: 24 hours per day / 7 days per week

WOMEN'S CRISIS SUPPORT TEAM
Offers a crisis line, Talsunne Safe House shelter for up to 13 women and their children, and advocacy for survivors of domestic violence, stalking, and sexual assault. Provides prevention education in area high schools and throughout the community.
