CLACKAMAS VOLUNTEERS IN MEDICINE
Provides primary medical services for individuals without access to health care. Volunteer medical professionals offer routine preventative and non-emergency medical care. For chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma, and heart disease, care is provided in addition to education and equipment for self-care. Eye exams and glasses are also available (beginning January 2024). More specialized services that cannot be provided on-site are referred to a network of specialty physicians in the region.

EYECARE AMERICA
Volunteer ophthalmologists provide comprehensive medical eye exams and up to one year of care at no out-of-pocket cost for any disease diagnosed during the initial exam. Program also provides glaucoma eye exams; if deemed necessary by the doctor during the exam, treatment can be initiated.

Does not assist with prescription drugs, hospital services, or fees of other medical professionals. Does not provide eyeglass prescriptions, eyeglass/refraction exams (the prescription part of exam), or cover the cost of glasses.
