If a foster family needs respite care, they can call and they will do their best to provide a few names/numbers for people that can be contacted who may be a good match for their child(ren). It is up to the resource (foster) family to interview the potential respite person to determine if it is a good match. DHS does not endorse them nor do they pay for the care.
