In order to lower the incidences of child abuse and neglect, increase effective parenting, and improve family health and well-being via parent education trainings, strengthening linkages among providers, and improving access to support for all families. Coordinated enrollment into subsidized preschool, including Head Start and Preschool Promise. Serves as the Coordinate Early Learning Hub for the county.

Early Learning Washington County (ELWC) is a partnership that brings diverse organizations, parents, and communities together to support families in raising strong, healthy children. Early Learning Washington County is a partnership between the United Way of the Columbia-Willamette and Washington County Health and Human Services.

Assists families, child care providers, and community partners in providing quality early learning and school readiness programs, and professional development opportunities. Offers referrals to Early Head Start, Head Start, and parent-child groups.

Offers collaborative program and systems for kindergarten readiness, as well as community events, children's playgroups and classes for parents and guardians of young children.

After school enrichment program provides activities such as art, science, homework help, sports, field trips, and playtime. Summer Camp, fun, engaging camps for kids.

Provides parenting materials, family events, and a free lending library. It also hosts a variety of classes and groups offered by the agencies within the center. The agencies it houses include the Gladstone Health & Wellness Center, pediatric health, emotional and dental services. Family Stepping Stones, Relief Nursery, Head Start and Early Head Start, Northwest Family services navigators, Clackamas Education Service District EI/ECSE program, LifeWorks Northwest family counseling, WIC, SMART, Clackamas Community College GED program, and the Gladstone School District kindergarten program.

-The Incredible Years: Programs for parents, children, and teachers that prevent and treat young children's behavior problems and promote their social, emotional, and academic competence.
-Making Parenting a Pleasure: Addresses self-care, stress and anger management, understanding child development, communication skills, and positive discipline.
-Abriendo Puertas/Opening Doors: Comprehensive training program developed by and for Latino parents.

The program aims to improve student achievement by reducing absenteeism, providing cultural awareness and increasing parent involvement.

Healthy Families is a voluntary home-visiting program that offers services to families of newborns. The program seeks to ensure healthy, thriving children and caring, nurturing families through education and guidance.

Head Start is a national program that promotes school readiness by enhancing the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children ages 3-5 through the provision of educational, health, nutritional, social, and other services to enrolled children and families, with a special focus on helping preschoolers develop the early reading and math skills they need to be successful in school. Parental involvement is emphasized.

Oregon Head Start Pre-Kindergarten (OPK) was established in 1987 as the state counterpart to the federal Head Start program. The state's Department of Education and the regional Head Start office govern the program collaboratively. OPK adheres to all federal Head Start Performance Standards.

NCESD does not operate its own Head Start/OPK program, but provides referrals to local providers and preschools.

Ready, Set, Go is a kindergarten readiness program run by Metropolitan Family Service in the North Clackamas School District. The program helps children prepare for kindergarten, helps adults improve their parenting skills, and increases parent involvement in schools.

Maintains resource list that are child-centered, family-friendly, and linguistically appropriate and community-based for parents and guardians of children. Connects families to kindergarden readiness programs.

Portland Public Schools provides free early learners programs to children ages 3-5 including Pre-Kindergarten and Head Start programs to eligible families.

South Lane Children's Dental Clinic is a community supported non-profit clinic that provides emergency, comprehensive and preventive dental services to uninsured children.
