HOMEOWNER ASSISTANCE FUND (HAF) PROGRAM
Provides financial assistance for the following housing costs:
-Mortgage payments
-Mortgage reinstatement
-Housing costs related to a period of forbearance, delinquency, or default
-Past due, current, and future utilities
-Delinquent property taxes
-Homeowner’s, flood, and mortgage insurance
-Repairs to maintain habitability
-Fees and liens
-Principal and interest rate reductions
-Other costs to prevent homeowner displacement

Eligibility: Low and moderate income Coquille Tribal members nationwide and other Native Americans, Alaska Natives, and socially disadvantaged individuals in Coos, Curry, Douglas, Jackson, and Lane counties in Oregon.

All programs are operated to first serve the needs of members of the Coquille Indian Tribe, then members of the Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua, and Siuslaw Indians, and then other Native Americans and Alaska Natives. Eligibility is further determined by need, income, references from landlords and credit providers, criminal background check, and household composition.
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-noon
