LEGAL AID
Provides civil legal aid and advocacy, can not assist with criminal law cases. The Center is organized into specialty units: Housing/Consumer Unit, Income Maintenance Unit, Employment/Individual Rights Unit (Immigration Law Project, Protecting Our Veterans, and Public Guardian Program), and Family Unit.

The Center works to ensure that clients gain access to resources to meet their basic needs for food, sustainable shelter, clothing, medical care, and income maintenance. As well as clients' freedom from domestic violence and citizenship enfranchisement related to the naturalization process and helps with family-based immigration.

CLARK COUNTY VOLUNTEER LAWYERS PROGRAM
Advice clinics offer one-on-one appointments with a volunteer attorney for civil law matters only. Topics include family law (custody, visitation, divorce, guardianship, etc.), elder law, general law, debt/bankruptcy (Chapter 7 only), and wills/estates. Clinics are held weekly and monthly. Self-help materials and forms available as well.

MULTNOMAH COUNTY AGING DISABILITY AND VETERANS SERVICES DIVISION
AGING, DISABILITY AND VETERANS SERVICES
Provides services to older adults, adults with disabilities, veterans, and caregivers. Services include Medicaid case management, SNAP/food stamps administration, information and assistance, legal services, transportation, in-home services so client can remain independent, advocacy assistance, and help with health care questions.

Adult protective services investigates incidents of abuse or neglect involving older adults and people with disabilities who are living in a facility or their own homes and provides a phone line to report abuse or neglect.

This site also licenses adult care homes to enforce state and county laws concerning the rights and care of residents in licensed care facilities. Homes are inspected and approved before receiving a license.

The Central Office is responsible for advocacy, planning, community relations, and administrative support for the division. The Helpline, Gatekeeper, Veterans Services, and Public Guardian programs are also located at the Central Office.
